Becoming Oxfordian

Our Becoming Oxfordian Video Competition continues, and we’re delighted to share our latest contribution.

We’re inviting subscribers to share their story.

· How did you first encounter the Shakespeare Authorship Question

· What sparked your journey to becoming an Oxfordian?

Your video doesn’t need to be professionally produced, a short 3–4 minute recording on your phone is absolutely fine. What matters most is your perspective. What first sparked your curiosity? What convinced you? And why does the authorship question matter to you?

Please send your entries to substack@deveresociety.co.uk by 30 April. The winning entry will receive a limited edition Great Oxford box set.

Our latest contribution comes from Jessica Lee — we hope you enjoy her story.

Until 2006, Jessica’s focus was on raising her four children. Since then, alongside her interest in the Shakespeare authorship question, she has developed a deep appreciation for theatre and botanical illustration.

Jessica received a distinction from the School at the Chelsea Physic Garden for her work and continues to paint and draw flora. She also enjoys accompanying her husband on vinous travels and cellar visits.
